Welcome to Broaddus ISD Food Service Web Page. My name is Sheila Williams, and I am the Food Service Director at Broaddus I.S.D. My siblings and I all attended Broaddus ISD, and my mother, the late Jolene Williams, worked here as a cafeteria employee for 32 years. I graduated from Broaddus HS in 1985 and started employment at Broaddus I.S.D. on August 31,1990. Broaddus ISD is my home, and I love our students, faculty, staff and community.
My vision as the Food Service Director is to ensure that our students are provided a healthy well balanced breakfast and lunch, while also having the choice of Offer vs. Serve. The cafeteria staff strives to promote a safe and healthy environment for our students, and to maintain the state guidelines for a well-balanced, nutritional diet. It has been proven, students are able to learn better when they are well nourished. Eating healthy has been linked to higher grades, better memory, and alertness.
