The first grade field trip scheduled for April 13th has been cancelled.
Broaddus Elementary will have no after school tutorials for the week of April 9 - 13.
Subzero came to Broaddus Elementary to demonstrate uses for science in the kitchen with liquid nitrogen.

2nd grade went to Tyler on their field trip.

Fourth grade students are preparing for their STAAR Writing Test at "Camp Learn A Lot". Mrs. Brown set up camping themed stations for test prep lessons.

Softball games have been rescheduled to Monday April 2nd. JV plays at 4 V plays at 530.
The following groups will take pictures for yearbook tomorrow, March 29: HS Basketball (boys/girls); Baseball and Softball; HS Cheer; Track (JR/HS); Bass Club; All HS clubs; UIL (JR/HS-bring medals); and Senior Class Favorites (dress your best). If you would like to purchase a STAAR t-shirt this year for your student, orders are due by tomorrow afternoon. They have “Broaddus ISD” at the bottom and are available to all grade levels. The cost is $7.

Just a reminder to everyone that there will be no school on Friday, March 30th in observance of Good Friday. Also, we will be taking group and team pictures at the High School tomorrow. These will include baseball, softball, track, basketball, UIL, cheer, FFA, and all clubs. Pictures will begin around 8:30am.

Yesterday at FFA District Speaking Events, Connor Downs placed 2nd in Soil Stewardship. He will advance to the Area Competition. Skyla Perdue placed 4th in Natural Resources. Kyla Price placed 7th in Extemporaneous Speaking. We are proud of our Bulldogs!


Congrats to our FFA members at the County Show 2018! All students worked very hard preparing projects and their animals. We had several class winners in Ag Mechanics and one Reserve Champion lamb. All projects made the sell! Thanks to our students and teachers for their dedication and hard work.
