Theater students from surrounding areas were invited to Angelina College to audition and tour the theater department. Approximately 30 students from local schools attended. Students were able to work on their light board, had a stage makeup class, and were able to interview and audition for a scholarship. BISD Junior theater students, Ava Turcios and Kayla Sowell, were offered scholarships for Angelina Theater department upon graduation. They met with the theater director and tech director who were thoroughly impressed with their audition, interview, and professionalism throughout the tour. Way to go girls! Mrs. Toner, Mrs. Reyna, and all of BISD are beyond proud of these talented young ladies who will lend their talents to AC in acting, tech, set, costuming, and music.
