Broaddus Elementary 5th grade is participating in a 6-week series of guest speakers presenting self-awareness, self motivation, and positive practices. Guest speaker Nana Antwi-Boasiako with SFA Mens Basketball spoke with Broaddus Elementary students on the importance of education, structure, and accountability as they begin to transition from elementary to junior high. Thank you Nana for spending the afternoon with our students.

Mrs. Betsy Toner was selected to receive the 2024 Gilbert I. "Buddy" Low Excellence in Education Award. Broaddus ISD is very proud of this accomplishment. She was chosen from an impressive collection of nominations submitted by other schools.

Leo the Lion with ADAC made a special appearance to 2nd grade a Pre K 3 & 4 delivering stickers, pencils and coloring pages with a friendly reminder to make good choices.
