Non-Credible Threat Email
Schools throughout the state received an email a short while ago claiming to be a Russian terrorist. This email included threats to schools and students, however, State and Federal Law Enforcement determined these are hoax threats. Broaddus ISD has not received such email, however we are monitoring this situation closely. In the event we do receive such a threat, we will notify parents and act accordingly.
The safety of our students and staff is our priority. We will continue to work with law enforcement to monitor the situation and will make decisions based on information received from them.
We will continue with our school day, as normal.

Elementary Staff Poke a Tree December Christmas fun celebration. Winners include Amy Wheeler, Kristi Wells & Kelly Emerson. Students also competed in Guess the Snowballs at breakfast this morning.Winner Chloe Salas with a guess of 52 snowballs.

There will be NO girls basketball game tonight in Shelbyville. That game has been cancelled.
The Lil Shopper's Shoppe is starting soon! We will be open with a preview day for all students during the school day on Monday, December 4. Students will then be able to shop during their allotted time throughout the week! Student Council is looking forward to helping our little ones find the perfect gift for their loved ones!
Attention the Elementary will have a Winter Sock drive starting 12/4-12/18. All donations will be delivered on Make a difference Day 12/20 to residents of local Nursing homes.
Broaddus Elementary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thank you, staff, for dressing in multiple characters and to the students for coming to school to have fun with us today. Hope you all have a blessed and thankful Thanksgiving.
BHS hosted the 3rd Annual Broaddus College and Career Day today. We want to say a special thank you to all of the business, college, and military representatives that joined us for this event! Thank you to San Augustine High School, Chireno High School, Brookeland High School, Hemphill High School, and Joaquin High School for bringing your students to join us today! It was a great day at BISD!
