Happy Thanksgiving from a few Broaddus ISD employees who were on a Turkey and Turkey leg hunt last week. We pray you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones and we will see you on Monday.

2nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade at the Elementary was a big hit today. We would like to thank the high school for allowing a few students to take part and a few staff members as well. Also, thank you, Angelina College, ADAC - Leo the Lion, Angelina Beautiful Clean, Texas Forestry Service, and the Middle School Cheerleaders and Mascot were all in attendance The 2nd graders led the parade with their Macy's Day balloon project. The school would like to say a special thanks to McWilliams and Sons as well as HEB for their toy and prize donations. We are already planning next years parade. We would like to thank Angelina Beautiful Clean and A& M Forestry for the tree presentation and donation. We can't wait to get the trees planted after the break. Thank you everyone who took part and helped make this a fun day. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving break.

Our Junior High students recently wrapped up their Big Kahuna fundraiser. We were able to give out some very exciting prizes to go along with what Big Kahuna offered:
Coach Schmitt's homeroom class was the top-selling class two weeks in a row and was treated to snacks during class. They will also get ice cream during lunch one day after the Thanksgiving break.
Lexi Scarber, Kacie Welch, and Maggie McCarty all won Bluetooth earbuds.
Mariah Coulter won a Kindle Fire.
All students who sold at least two boxes will be treated to milkshakes from Dairy Mart before Christmas break. These students will also participate in the "Blast Party" where they will have pizza and snow cones from Big Kahuna.
Our top-selling student was Keith Hoffpauir, and he won $100.00 cash!
Thank you to everyone in our school and community who supported our fundraiser!
