
Freshmen Focus is Tuesday, 5/22/18 at 5:30 in the cafeteria. This is for all incoming freshmen. Students will be able to fill out course selection sheets, discuss graduation plans, and review endorsement options. All incoming freshmen and parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.


Just a reminder that athletic physicals are this Wednesday beginning at 8:00 am. We will need a completed form with parent signature, along with the cost of $15 by that time. If a student in grades 6-12 plans to participate in athletics next year they will need to have this completed.

Just a reminder we will begin STAAR testing again tomorrow. Letters were sent out last week reminding the grades and dates testing. Please make sure students get a good nights rest. Be safe and we’ll see you in the morning.

We have been celebrating “Teacher Appreciation Week” all week long. Thanks to the PTA for dropping off so many wonderful treats for our teachers! We appreciate the work PTA puts in too.

Elementary end of the year activities


Just a reminder that any 2018-2019 junior or senior that plans to take dual-credit classes this summer or next fall needs to attend the workshop tonight. Spring Break for Broaddus ISD is APRIL 16 - 20.

The first grade field trip scheduled for April 13th has been cancelled.

Broaddus Elementary will have no after school tutorials for the week of April 9 - 13.

Subzero came to Broaddus Elementary to demonstrate uses for science in the kitchen with liquid nitrogen.


2nd grade went to Tyler on their field trip.


Fourth grade students are preparing for their STAAR Writing Test at "Camp Learn A Lot". Mrs. Brown set up camping themed stations for test prep lessons.
