If you would like to purchase a STAAR t-shirt this year for your student, orders are due by tomorrow afternoon. They have “Broaddus ISD” at the bottom and are available to all grade levels. The cost is $7.


Just a reminder to everyone that there will be no school on Friday, March 30th in observance of Good Friday. Also, we will be taking group and team pictures at the High School tomorrow. These will include baseball, softball, track, basketball, UIL, cheer, FFA, and all clubs. Pictures will begin around 8:30am.


Yesterday at FFA District Speaking Events, Connor Downs placed 2nd in Soil Stewardship. He will advance to the Area Competition. Skyla Perdue placed 4th in Natural Resources. Kyla Price placed 7th in Extemporaneous Speaking. We are proud of our Bulldogs!



Congrats to our FFA members at the County Show 2018! All students worked very hard preparing projects and their animals. We had several class winners in Ag Mechanics and one Reserve Champion lamb. All projects made the sell! Thanks to our students and teachers for their dedication and hard work.

Mrs. McGee 4th grade Math class is doing “Multiplication matchup Easter egg hunt” today in class.


Congratulations to 2nd grade for raising the most for this years Pennie for Patients. They were awarded a Dominos Pizza party for their efforts.


Also, don’t forget that Monday is National Epilepsy Awareness Day. All students and staff can support the cause by wearing purple that day.

Don’t forget the County Show activities begin today and run through tomorrow night. Our FFA and 4H students and teachers have put in some long hours on projects, baking, and their animals. We are proud of our Bulldogs! Come out and see how hard they’ve been working.

Mrs. Rita 2nd grade class is working on measurements.


This mural was created as a collaborative project by Art I students using acrylic paints. After dividing the painting into 30 squares each student received a square and transferred their section of the painting onto their paper. Then they painted with large impressionist brush strokes to replicate van Gogh’s brush work.
